Our personal security and protection models and training methods provide the comprehensive coverage required to manage all phases of a potentially-violent incident: before, during, and after. We utilise scenario-based training and modern coaching methods drawn from research on the science of learning and human performance. All training is informed and continually evolved based on our ongoing research and analysis of violent incidents that occur throughout the world in a range of different environments and contexts.
We help people learn to be aware of general and specific risks of threat and attack within their environment, and to recognise early warning signs of danger and take appropriate action to prevent a potentially-violent incident from fully developing (before it becomes critical).
For situations that cannot be prevented: we equip people with practical skills and knowledge to enable them to respond in a tactically effective and legally compliant manner during a threat or attack scenario, so they may adequately protect themselves (and/or others) against harm. This includes training in relevant threat response options including escape, de-escalation, and use of force (both with and/or without any approved weapons as appropriate to context).
We also provide relevant skills for dealing with the immediate through to long-term aftermath of a violent incident, helping to ensure safety through addressing aspects of recovery including provision of first aid, potential justification of actions, and ultimately achieving a return to normality for those impacted by the incident.
We specialise in the development and delivery of personal security and protection training programs at both Operator and Instructor levels. We can conduct bespoke in-house courses for your organisation, where all training is tailored to your specific context and requirements including rules of engagement and most likely threat and attack scenarios. We also offer some training activities open to the general public, where all content is taught and practiced in accordance with relevant laws of self-defence.
